equipment rental conditions

Your rental confirmation payment should be made at least five (5) working days prior to the date of event to ensure that all online payments are confirmed on our end and any cheque payments are cleared successfully (e.g. to ensure no dishonoured cheques). 

Bookings for Wedding Receptions, Concerts (all types) and Movie Nights should be made at least one (1) month in advance to secure the rental equipment as we operate on a first come, first serve basis for rental confirmations.

NOTE: In order to schedule a technician and to load equipment from our storage locations your confirmation payment to confirm booking (s) must be made in advance.

Late bookings and/or same day bookings will incur additional fees which start from TT$300 and up depending on the event date/location. This fee would be added to the regular rental fees or preset package price (s). Only when an online payment (wire transfer) is made and confirmed on our end, then we would reserve and deliver the equipment.  

Some exceptions (waiver of late fees) may be made for Online payments made with Scotiabank Accounts ONLY at least 24 hrs to 36 hrs before the event date along with all the submission of ALL rental documents as requested per quotation and based on the equipment requested.

Our company would normally setup equipment at the exact rental location and provide onsite tech support during the event. However, we have delivery and re-collection rental options, as well as, D.I.Y. (Do It Yourself) rental options  where the rented equipment can be used on a site unsupervised by our staff.  With these options the client would be required to pay a refundable caution fee, submit one (1) form of national identification, one (1) proof of address, download/complete our equipment rental agreement and/or agree via an email confirmation.

Onsite Technical Support during an event would carry a separate fee based on the location, duration and type of rental. This fee is not included in the equipment rental fees advertised on this website. 

When booking our equipment rentals at an Authorised Agent a ten percent (10%) agent processing fee would be added to the  total rental cost. 

An advance payment would be required to confirm all equipment rentals. A fee would  also apply for site visits.

Please note that additional fees would be applied to events scheduled on or falling on Public Holidays. Fees would also vary based on the location, duration and type of event.

A fee is charged for site visits which range from TT$300 and up based on the location. This fee would be reimbursed upon final confirmation of rental. 

To reduce costs, clients are always encouraged to send us a short video of location via whatsapp (868.375.2494) or pictures of location via email (gilltechservices@gmail.com) so we can  determine the exact cost of rental and if we would accept the job. We would also require a brief description of the layout of proposed event and the list of services you require.

Rental requests must be made by persons eighteen (18) years and over.
